Job Summary

This position is located at Whidbey Island, WA, and supports one or more NAVAIR Program Offices with a primary focus on advanced Electronic Warfare systems for tactical aircraft and Integrated Product Teams. This position will perform data analysis to support full life cycle efforts, from requirements development to sustainment, facilitate DMS resolutions, and provide support with Airworthiness documentation. This is a 100% direct labor position that will require intermittent travel within the Continental United States. The candidate must have served as a Government IPT lead and possess advanced knowledge of the NGJ, specifically in support of the EA-18G Growler platform.

 Essential Job Functions

• Participate in completing documentation, support planning for engineering events and or studies to ensure the necessary, relevant data is collected to assess and enhance the Navy’s airborne electronic warfare capability.
• Analyze data to determine relevant trends and provide actionable information for development of effective EW systems.

• Serve as EW subject matter expertise for NAVAIR Integrated Product Teams; brief team and larger EW community on system capabilities and employment.
• Participate in programmatic and technical reviews; assess risks to program success and recommend courses of action to the IPT lead based on risks and mitigation strategies.
• Develop, assess, and recommend strategies for supporting and sustaining updated and modified EW system components, both hardware and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration (MBA), Aviation Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical or operational discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in Electronic Warfare, aviation systems, or Department of Defense acquisition; 15 years preferred
• Experienced IPT Lead specializing in Airborne Electronic Attack capabilities
• Strong Organizational and Project Management skills.
• Must have current Top Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, MS Project desired.
