Joint Synthetic Training Analyst

This position serves as a senior warfare analyst supporting Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive training system development for the Joint Staff (J-7) Joint Force Development Directorate. The Joint Staff J-7, in support of the Chairman, trains, educates, develops, designs and adapts the globally integrated, partnered, Joint Force to achieve overmatch in the continuum of conflict under conditions of accelerating change in the character of war. The J7 supports the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the joint warfighter through joint force development (JFD) in order to advance the operational effectiveness of the current and future joint force.

• Research, compile data, analyze, and provide recommendations to stakeholders on future research and investment strategies that further Joint synthetic and/or live training.
  
• Understand operational and training aspects of current and future DoD kill chains.  Maintain relationships with multiple service and joint subject matter experts and their organizations.
• Engage with and periodically update stakeholders on analysis and risk to contract.
• Travel 10%.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in any of the following fields: physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, math, statistics. Work experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement.
• Intelligence background with experience in Information Operations and Electromagnetic Warfare. 
• Knowledgeable in DoD training frameworks. 
• Major command staff tour experience preferred.
• Top Secret / SCI Clearance required. As part of our pre-employment hiring process, background checks are performed on applicants without an active security clearance.
