Job Summary

A Corporate Operations Specialist ensures the smooth functioning of day-to-day business operations by streamlining processes, managing resources, and optimizing workflows. They collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the achievement of strategic objectives.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Support day-to-day corporate operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments such as Operations and Finance, to include tracking and processing expenses.
  • Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex business problems, and communicate findings by presenting analyses, recommending program improvements, correcting deficiencies, optimizing resource use, identifying potential risks, and providing actionable strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop business case analysis, prepare white papers, justifications, alternatives, and recommendations, and participate in and support corporate initiatives.
  • Acquisition Management: knowledge of acquisition budget, schedules and packages, including Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Spend Plans, OPSEC Plans, Justification and Approvals (J&A), and DD Form 254.
  • Track and analyze procurement and project data using management tools to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project and organizational goals.
  • Format and tailor resumes to meet contract-specific requirements and customer guidelines, ensuring compliance with proposal standards and enhancing submission quality.
  • Contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives, including administering and tracking the company’s charity matching program.
  • Support the CEO’s Executive Assistant with executive-level event and meeting coordination.
  • Apply government-institute processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

 

Qualifications



  • Demonstrates knowledge of the management and operations of the Department of the Navy Systems Commands.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree – either a major in or 24-semester equivalent hours in any of the following fields: accounting, business, law, contracts, purchasing, office administration or management, industrial management. Work experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas: business financial analysis, operations management, continual process improvement, executive communication, or managing data for large organizations.
  • Prior experience working with industry/government executive-level personnel.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Visio, and the standard Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Secret Clearance required.

  • Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management - ACQ101 - Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
  • Fundamentals of International Acquisition- ACQ120 - Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
  • Contracting Officers Representative (COR) Training - Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
