Job Summary



This position serves as a Senior Program Analyst for the PMA-265 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD (with remote option of NAS Whidbey Is.).  The candidate must have significant experience in aircraft weapons operation, integration, and program management capable of coordinating all facets of weapon system integration efforts and associated meetings, to include testing and troubleshooting, liaising with other associated program offices, to include, but not limited to Mission Planning, Engineering, Risk Assessment, and briefings to USN and foreign leadership. The position will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) warfare/weapons analysis, program management, acquisition analysis/support, and mission integration support to weapons integration.  Applicants should possess a broad spectrum of knowledge of USN and USAF aviation platforms with regard to weapon integration efforts as well as mission planning systems/techniques to ensure a seamless transition to operational capability. The ability to team with a variety of stakeholders as well as fostering synergistic relationships is crucial for success in this role.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Operational support to specified meetings, program management products, and directed technical efforts. 
  • Provide SME analysis and recommendations on current and future weapons capabilities. 
  • Assist in the development and assessment of technical and programmatic risks.
  • Analyze, manage, and support advanced systems events. 
  • Coordinate and lead meetings, projects, Tiger Teams, and assist with project status, schedules, and milestones. 
  • Draft, review, and organize weapon integration efforts towards development. 
  • Prepare briefing materials and assist in presentation to leadership when directed. 
  • Represent leadership and customer at various meetings and provide feedback and recommendations, as required. 
  • Serve as liaison between the PMA-265 and the foreign partner to ensure mission requirements are being addressed.

 

Qualifications



  • 10 years of military active duty (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline (required)
  • Program management and analysis experience (required)
  • Weapons SME and/or military long-range weapons planner (required)
  • Foreign Military Sales or International Programs experience (preferred)
  • Operational Test or Exercise Planning experience (preferred)
  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition programs (preferred)
  • Active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility (required)
